Refund Policy

This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which refunds, cancellations, and returns are handled for products and services purchased from Siftingmotionon. We aim to be fair and transparent in all financial transactions.

1. General Principles

Siftingmotionon is committed to customer satisfaction and compliance with Dutch consumer protection law, including the EU Consumer Rights Directive as implemented in the Netherlands. This policy applies to all paid services and products offered through our website and direct communications.

Refund eligibility varies depending on the type of product or service purchased. Please read the relevant section below carefully. When in doubt, contact us at assist@siftingmotionon.world before making a purchase.

2. Right of Withdrawal for Consumers

If you are a consumer residing in the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from a distance contract within fourteen calendar days without giving any reason, in accordance with Article 6:230o of the Dutch Civil Code.

The withdrawal period expires fourteen days after the day on which you or a third party indicated by you acquires physical possession of goods, or fourteen days after the day of conclusion of the contract for services.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision by a clear statement sent to assist@siftingmotionon.world or by post to Haagse Veer 99, 3011 DA Rotterdam, Netherlands. You may use the contact form on our website but are not required to use a specific template.

3. Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal

Under Dutch and EU law, the right of withdrawal does not apply to:

  • Services fully performed before the end of the withdrawal period, where you gave prior express consent and acknowledged that you would lose your right of withdrawal once the service was fully performed
  • Digital content delivered immediately after purchase, where you gave prior express consent and acknowledged the loss of withdrawal rights
  • Personalised or custom-made products created to your specifications
  • Consulting sessions that have already taken place at the agreed scheduled time

Where exceptions apply, this will be clearly communicated at the point of purchase.

4. Consulting Sessions

4.1 Cancellation by Customer

You may cancel or reschedule a consulting session without charge if you provide at least twenty-four hours written notice before the scheduled start time. Notice should be sent to assist@siftingmotionon.world.

Cancellations with less than twenty-four hours notice may result in forfeiture of the session fee, unless exceptional circumstances apply (such as documented emergencies). We assess such cases individually.

4.2 Cancellation by Siftingmotionon

If we need to cancel a session due to unforeseen circumstances, you will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule at no additional cost. We will notify you as promptly as possible.

4.3 Refund After Session Completion

Once a consulting session has been delivered, refunds are generally not available. If you believe the session did not meet the agreed scope, contact us within seven days with a detailed description. We will review your concern and may offer a partial refund, a complimentary follow-up session, or another appropriate remedy at our discretion.

5. Educational Products

5.1 Digital Downloads

Digital educational products (guides, checklists, reference sheets) are delivered electronically. If you have not downloaded or accessed the product, you may request a full refund within fourteen days of purchase.

Once a digital product has been downloaded or accessed, the right of withdrawal is waived if you gave express consent at purchase acknowledging this condition, as permitted by consumer law for digital content.

5.2 Physical Materials

If we offer physical educational materials, you may return unused items in their original condition within fourteen days of receipt. Return shipping costs are your responsibility unless the product was defective or incorrectly shipped.

6. Programs and Challenges

Structured programs and challenges involve delivery of materials and guidance over a defined period. Refund terms are as follows:

  • Before program start date: Full refund available upon written request.
  • Within the first seven days after start: Partial refund may be available, minus the value of materials already delivered and any sessions already conducted.
  • After seven days: Refunds are generally not available, as program content and resources will have been substantially delivered.

Specific programs may include additional refund terms communicated at enrollment. Those terms supplement this policy where explicitly stated.

7. Refund Process

Approved refunds are processed as follows:

  1. Submit a refund request to assist@siftingmotionon.world with your order details and reason for the request.
  2. We acknowledge receipt within two business days and review your request.
  3. If approved, the refund is initiated within five business days.
  4. Funds are returned to the original payment method. Bank processing times may add three to ten business days before the amount appears in your account.

We will notify you by email when the refund has been processed.

8. Partial Refunds

In certain situations, partial refunds may be appropriate, including:

  • Technical issues preventing access to purchased digital content that we cannot resolve within a reasonable timeframe
  • Delivery of an incorrect product, where the correct product is unavailable
  • Program withdrawal after partial completion, as described in Section 6

Partial refund amounts are calculated based on the proportion of the service or product not yet delivered.

9. Non-Refundable Items

The following are generally non-refundable:

  • Completed consulting sessions
  • Downloaded or accessed digital products (where withdrawal consent was given)
  • Custom personalised plans already delivered
  • Program fees after the seven-day post-start window described in Section 6

10. Chargebacks

We encourage you to contact us directly to resolve any billing concerns before initiating a chargeback with your payment provider. Chargebacks initiated without prior communication may result in suspension of access to purchased services while the dispute is investigated.

We will provide relevant transaction documentation to payment providers when legitimate disputes arise and cooperate in good faith to reach fair resolutions.

11. Defective or Incorrect Products

If you receive a defective digital file, an incomplete product, or an item that does not match its description, contact us within fourteen days. We will provide a corrected version, replacement, or full refund at no additional cost to you.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy to reflect changes in our services or legal requirements. The revision date at the top of this page indicates the latest version. Changes apply to purchases made after the update date. Purchases made before an update are governed by the policy in effect at the time of purchase.
